Postwright turns one video into a week of content and, on Pro, runs a full content operating system — blog, newsletter, social cadence, editorial AI, and SEO. It’s self-hosted: it runs on your machine and publishes to destinations you own.

Read this first

Postwright is powerful because it publishes for you — but publishing means it needs somewhere to publish to. The video engine (Studio) posts to YouTube, LinkedIn, and Meta out of the box. Pro adds a blog pipeline and a newsletter engine, and those need a destination you control.

A self-hosted site — a Git repo on GitHub, deployed on Vercel, with email through Resend — works with zero custom code (it’s the exact stack Postwright was built on). WordPress, Ghost, and Beehiiv have built-in publishers. Other destinations range from a little setup to not supported. Before you buy Pro, read How publishing works so there are no surprises.

The honest summary: a Git-based self-hosted site, YouTube, and LinkedIn work out of the box. WordPress, Ghost, and Beehiiv connect with a key and some setup (Beehiiv needs its Pro or Enterprise plan). Other CMSes connect through a signed webhook. Substack posts are not supported, and Substack Notes are drafted for you to post by hand. Go High Level would need custom work. TikTok, Reddit, and Medium are not supported.

Newsletter

Resend or Mailgun, or Kit, Mailchimp, Ghost, or Beehiiv for the list you already keep there, plus drip sequences and subscriber management.

Social platforms

YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, X, Pinterest, and Telegram, Discord, and Slack channels — which need a login and which need API keys. Substack Notes are drafted for you to post by hand.

Comment inbox

Read comments on your posts in one place and reply where each platform allows, with every reply waiting for your approval. Pro.

Agent access (MCP server)

Let Claude Code or another agent read your calendar and, if you allow it, schedule or approve posts. Pro and Team.

Client reviews

Hold a post until a client approves it, with a review link they open in any browser. Team.
