This policy explains what information postwright.app collects when you buy or use Postwright, and how it’s handled. The Postwright application itself runs on your own machine — your footage, transcripts, and posting sessions never reach us.
What we collect
- Purchase details — your email, the tier you bought, and payment status. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them.
- License records — the license key issued to you and its status, so you can recover it and receive updates.
- Approximate location — your country, derived from your IP at checkout, for tax and US-only sales.
- Site analytics — anonymous usage via Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to understand traffic and measure ads (US visitors; see below).
How we use it
To deliver your license and downloads, send transactional email (receipts, key recovery, update notices) via Resend, provide support, calculate tax, prevent fraud, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We share the minimum necessary with providers that run this store: Stripe (payments + tax), Resend (email), Neon (database), Cloudflare R2 (secure downloads), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data on our behalf.
Analytics & advertising
For visitors in the United States, we use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which set cookies to measure traffic and ad performance. We do not run this tracking for EU/UK visitors. You can opt out at any time.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing us. We’ll keep purchase and license records as needed for legal, tax, and support purposes.
